We feature Nigeria’s Nkem DenChukwu, whose story is nothing short of inspirational. DenChukwu was born in Enugu State in the Eastern part of Nigeria on July 4th, in the family of Late Igwe Dennis N. Chukwu and Victoria Chukwu. Nkem?s last name; DenChukwu, was coined from her father? last name and first name, to fit with his business name. She migrated to the United States in the fall of 1994, and earned her bachelor?s degree in Computer Networking and a master?s in Health Services Administration. As an independent filmmaker, writer and producer, she has a long list of credits to her name, including being named to FilmBiz Magazine’s ?“Africa’s Top Women in Film & TV” .
