CHISENGA MUYOYA
Co-Founder, Asikana Network
Chisenga Muyoya?s plan was to become a medical doctor. Although she had no intentions of going into information technology, she changed her mind after she received a bachelor?s degree in Computer Science. She met co-founders Ethel Mbewe and Regina Mwanza at a mobile development boot camp, which was the boost needed to form the Ashikana Network, with a goal to?change how?women view technology fields and possibly bridge the wide gender gap that currently exists. In 2013, Muyoya was selected as one of twenty-eight fellows for the?Moremi Initiative Leadership and Empowerment Development (MILEAD) program in Ghana.
