Photographs That Capture The Strength & Pride Of Haiti

?Haiti is rich, rich of its people.?

These were the words of Thibault Carron,?summing up his recent experience in Haiti. The french photographer traveled for the first time to the Caribbean country with one of his Portraits of Montreal co-founders, Mika?l Theimer, to document the work of Handicap International Canada, M?decins du Monde, Kanpe?and?Anseye pou Ayiti.

While his focus was primarily on the incredible contributions of the non-government organizations to the country’s development, it was the women he came across?that caught his eye. “What struck me the most over there is the strength, will and pride I could see in the eyes of every woman and girl,” he commented in?a post for the Bored Panda.

The beauty in these photographs shows that life goes on, even in Haiti.
