Nike’s First Women’s Only Store Opens In Sandton City
You may have heard the rumors. And now, the day we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Nike?s first women?s store on the continent is officially open for business in Sandton city.
The iconic 30-year-old retailer, known for its open, gallery-like spaces and innovative selection of products obviously has a committed following in Africa — now you won?t have to leave the continent to get your fix.
The original store has been built out into a two story center of fitness heaven, complete with state of the art changing rooms. It also comes with Nike?s NTC live classes, which will be held weekly on location. The new space not only captures the brand?s aesthetic, but the needs of women. Nike Africa?s communications manager Seruscka Naidoo is helping to make it happen.
?After launching and creating a running revolution in the country which started in the heart of Johannesburg, it is very fitting to have extended our footprint into women and create a women?s club where they can run and train?, Naidoo said in an interview with True Love.
We can’t wait!
